Donations

The Club benefits from donations made directly to the Club or through the Australian Sports Foundation, the latter of which are tax-deductible.  This is the ONLY method of making a tax-deductible donation to the Club.

Donations made through the Australian Sports Foundation can be done online by clicking on the project box or utilising the link to the specific fundraising projects below.

All donations are appreciated greatly by all and we thank you for supporting for the club.

Our Fundraising Projects:

Banks Rowing Club Foundation

The aim of the Banks Rowing Club Foundation is to provide a lasting legacy to support future generations of Banks members. It has been created with a view to establishing and growing a permanent fund (a future fund) to be used for the development of rowing and for specific equipment and infrastructure projects for the Club. Contributions to the Foundation can be made by way of Donations and Will Bequests.

Equipment Renewal Program

The Equipment Renewal Program was established in 2005 for the purpose of raising funds for the purchase of boats and oars so as to ensure the fleet remains of the highest standard and we continue to grow our athlete capacity.

Boat Towing Vehicle

The Club currently relies on hire and private vehicles to transport boats to and from regattas. A dedicated towing vehicle is much needed given the extensive number of regattas, camps and time trials that the Club attends over the course of the year which will greatly reduce our costs during the racing season.

Banks 150 - Year History

The purpose of this fundraising project is to assist in meeting the costs of documenting the history of one of Australia's oldest sporting clubs.  It will provide all Club members and supporters with a permanent record of the Club's history, including of the heritage, culture and on-water and off-water achievements.

Youth Support

The purpose of our Youth Support fundraising project is to assist in meeting some of the costs of young athletes, coaches and teams when they travel to compete at interstate and international rowing regattas.  The costs of competing, particularly at interstate and international rowing regattas, can be significant for athletes whom are normally undertaking tertiary studies.
